Carlton Oaks Shade Structure
Coastline Steel was contracted by GEM Industrial to construct a new shade structure for the student lunch area. The project was located at Carlton Oaks Elementary School and was built for the Santee School District. Our scope of work consisted of fabrication and erection of the structural steel, we also provided and installed the steel decking. Through Complex 3d modeling Coastline was able to design and fabricate the multiple compound angles required in this structure. This project highlights Coastline's ablity to perform under tight deadlines. The project had a 2 week window for detailing, fabrication, galvanizing, and installation. Coastline Steel worked around the clock to ensure we met the required deadline
